It means you need a new screen, the rest of the phone is probably OK.....

Hi,

Has anything happened such as a drop or knock to the phone ?

Soft Reset : http://www.knowyourmobile.com/sony-ericsson/sony-xperia/18704/how-soft-reset-your-sony-xperia-t

Try a hard reset but make a back up first. http://www.hard-reset.com/sony-xperia-t-hard-reset.html

It cant harm to try but it does sound hardware related.

I would suggest approaching the phone manufacturer for help.

I'm sorry thats the case.

Sometimes its an avenue of ruling things out until something does work.

Hope all goes well for you with a repair.
