Why subscribe me to a service only to cancel it WITHOUT telling me and then I get a huge bill...

After A few months of £100+ phone bills (my boyfriend has moved back to ROI) I contacted O2 and asked what they could do.. I've been with o2 years.. I was out onto this O2 travel thing it'd be 50p to connect a call and the minutes would come of my allowance. Texts were also reduced..

First month of this phone bill £54 and now this month it's back to £110.

I'd call customer service but I'll get nowhere. I've actually spoken to an acquaintance who works for the company and they said that O2 treat new customers far better than old ones. We used to get rewarded for huge bills with a change in status, I think I was a gold which led to early upgrades. Now you get nothing except "treats" which are a farce to collect and not a tangible reward.

I am fed up.

The loyalty perks stopped in march last year when O2 brought in the new tariffs, now everyone gets the same deals whether you are a new or existing customer

O2 Travel remains on your account as a free bolt on and won't have been removed. You have probably made more calls or sent more texts over the Christmas and New Year period. Have a look at the breakdown of the charges on your bill. Call customer service if there is anything on there you disagree with.
