Why am I PAYING O2 a "Loyalty Discount"?

Anonymous
Not applicable
I just checked my bill online, in the add-on's section of my bill is a item called 'Loyalty Discount' and it has cost me £4.04!

This is not a reduction amount, it is added on top of my 'Works for iPhone' package. The two sums add exactly to the total amount payable for all add-on's.

When I signed up I didn't tell O2 I would give them a discount for the honour of having me as a customer, so why are they claiming a service discount off my account?

LOL, that's funny slight_smile
Maybe they were supposed to take it off but pressed the wrong button wink
Have you called CS to check?

when you took out your contract you will probably had a discount for x amount of months which will have run out on a exact date. You always pay for the tarrif a month in advance and they will have given you the full month discount when it probably ran out half way through. the charge you can see is for the discount you should not have had . Hover over the part of the bill for charges and credits and click into it, and it should show the date the discount ended x
