Trying to contact O2

Arghh!

 

I have been trying to get through to O2 to order a replacement SIM for the last hour, the call gets to around the 15 minute mark and then their IVR cuts me off. 

 

I'm on call number 4 now, reception is fine, I've even tried calling from a non-O2 (EE) line in case there is fault in my area and I am getting the same behaviour. Now it's a race against the clock to get through before 9pm when they close, if I manage to get through at all! 

 

I know this is a user led forum and there's nothing anyone can do, just finding it very frustrating, can O2 bring back web chat?

It's not really the point @MI5, O2 should have functioning phone lines, they're are not a budget MVNO. I should be able to call up or get on to chat and get a reply immediately rather than having to wait half a day for a reply from their social media advisors.

 

5th call failed after 15 minutes, will have to call back tomorrow and waste more time.

I was quite frustrated and being cut off 5 times! 😐
