Today is Day 77 of asking my porting request to bring my old number from BT, it's still not done but I have heard every excuse in the excuse book why it's not done , simple fact is they don't have a clue when something doesn't go right ...I have phoned every 3 days for an update , and have to go through he same dumb process, we will send a text , what's digit 4 5 6 of your passphrase, only to be told wait 3 days and it will all be done , and you will receive a call back .....
Day 72 , no call back every, it's not done , and I raised a customer complaint ...no call back even though the automated reply says 7 days , that was 3 weeks ago.
For a communication company , their communication skills are zero , I'm about to close all my accounts and move my numbers away from Durrr2

Complaints taking around 8 weeks at the moment. But I doubt it will do anything more that allowing you to take things to the ombudsman.
Do log ALL communications you have with O2 as it may be required as evidence.
I'm tagging our Community Manager who will be in Monday to see if they can get to the bottom of this 77 days is well past ridiculous

@Simpson2 @Has it been resolved yet? I’m concerned at seeing all of these posts as we’re going through this now too. I don’t even have an old phone (took out a sim only contract) to keep using my old number as o2 have said to keep the new sim in. I can’t even cancel even though I’m in the cooling off period as they can’t cancel it until it’s been processed but it’s stuck in processing and they don’t know why or how to fix it. Had I known how bad they were, I’d have never have switched

no they havent resolved it or given me a call back as promised....only the 15th time they have promised to contact me and its never happened yet...i will be ringing them again today or tomorrow.
