So, but I of a strange one. It’s now resolved but would be interested to hear views on what caused the issue.
I use an iPhone 15 pro max with a physical SIM on EE and an eSIM for o2. Has been working fine since Jan last year.
Around 5:30 yesterday evening, i noticed that the O2 connection was showing no bars of signal whatsoever, and it remained this way for a few hours. I tried turning the phone off and on, and resetting network settings but to no avail. The phone recognised the eSIM still but just wouldn’t connect. What I did notice is in the settings, it was showing “SIM not provisioned”
more worryingly, anyone calling me wasnt getting my voicemail, instead they were told that the number didn’t exist / they had dialled an incorrect number!
Spoke to O2 this morning and ignoring the challenges with the call centre, they finally managed to sort out a replacement eSIM which I downloaded via the O2 app which fixed it.
I’m curious as to what could have caused the issue in the first place?

Not sure what caused it but I do know it's not the first time we have had a post of a similar nature.
O2 do seem to have problems with eSIMs

It's just typical of O2 and esims
They don't work together very well
