Anyone else on an iPhone 15 series who’ve updated to iOS 18 noticed that they have a toggle for Stand Alone in their network setting under Voice & Data?
Mine’s greyed out but wasn’t there before iOS was released at 18:00 today.

You need a R15 SIM card, just go to an o2 store with Photo ID and ask for a new 5G SIM card.. Don't mention Standalone, SA or R15 it will confuse them..
5G is not available on PAYG just in case

I see some have it working.
I have an e-sim & maybe that is cause of greyed out.
Any ideas ? ( as support don’t seem to know )

Mine is a physical sim, and to be honest for a primary sim I would use a plastic sim,
I don't think 5G SA is supported on esim as yet, as they need to build the 3GPP profile into the sims

Okay,
seems I found the problem.
I need to swap back to physical sim.
( unless anyone else has esim & 5G standalone working ).
thanks.

Someone on Reddit is saying they are available but if you ask In store they say they aren't 5G SA, and my local store are switched and some tech savvy staff..
So would be good to clear it up, to be honest we should be warning people off sims they are a PITA

I am sim only customer

still not working on 5G SA

( also, I was informed that 02 have followed out for physical sims first & esims to follow. )
therefore; is it working now?
