Ok, this is getting ridiculous. Been on chats with O2 4 times now. How hard is it to swap a bloody sim card??? No Service now for almost 24 hours. The original sales guy told me that all I had to do was swap the sim when it came in the post and to relax and do nothing. It would all happen automatically. Yeah right. Anymore bs and I'm closing my accounts with O2 and moving to another network.

The store was closing, I got there just before. The guy said it took 15 minutes to activate.

I swapped my sim from a standard sized to a mini sim in an O2 store several months ago. It took the chap in the store less than five minutes to put in my details. I left the store and within 20 minutes my new sim was working. Did you even ask if they would do it for you?
You also didn't answer my question as to whether you are on contract or are you PAYG?

Very good point! It does look slightly different from my original one. I'm heading to the O2 shop for the second time shortly. We'll get to the bottom of it.

Bambino, I'm on contract. Monthly, which I stated ealier on in this thread of messages. I was on a business contract that expired last year. I didn't bother to renewing it, as I was looking to change networks. O2's coverage in my area isn't great. Like I said, I got there just before the shop was closing and I could see they wanted to go. The guy said it would be 15 minutes before it was activated. So there was no hanging around to see if it worked or not.

I only asked if you were on contract because you have to give 30 days notice if you want to cancel. If they had activated the sim in the store you wouldn't have had to hang around. It should have worked. If it didn't, then there's a different reason for it not activating, which you'll need to have investigated.
