Good morning
My name is Oona. I got a call from a Lisa from O2 on 18/4/24. Lisa offered me a promotional discount, and I accepted for £14 monthly this would be for 12 months. We did not discussed any new iPhone to be mailed out to me, and £30 monthly payment, with changes to my mobile number
I am dyslexics and suffer with Bipolar. I kept my old number for years now and would not think of changing my number
I am a single mother, my partner died from bowel cancer. I do not want a new phone, new number, which O2 Lisa did not offered me
I was scammed into something different. I have tried ringing Lisa on the number she gave me, but no response from Lisa
20/4 a Ben rang me asking if I received the package. I told Ben I will not accept package. DHL has the package, with what I am assuming is the new iPhone. I am so manic since, have to be seeing my mental health support worker.
I am feeling abuse, deceived by this 02 person
I did not discussed nor agreed to a new phone with change to my existing number
I accepted the promotion 2024 discount, Lisa from 02 offered me and with non changes to my unlimited data, unlimited text, unlimited calls
I am planning to take this matter to claims court. Because there is no one ringing me back to resolved this horrible con

It wasn't O2 that called you.
It's a common scam.
If you think you’ve been the victim of fraud – whether it’s because you’ve given details to someone over the phone, or clicked on a link in a suspicious text or email there are things you can do:
Contact your bank if you think you may have given out financial information. They can help protect your account and stop transactions.
Change your account and online account passwords. Not just your O2 account. All of them.
Forward fraudulent texts to O2 for free on 7726.
Contact Action Fraud on 0300 123 2040.
Call your Virgin Media or O2 customer services number if you think somebody’s taken out a contract using your details.
Virgin Media customers can phone 150 from their landline or 0345 454 1111 from any other phone.
O2 customers can call 202 from their O2 phone or 0344 809 0202 from any other phone.
You can block the number that called you, or any number you think may be suspicious.
