Having been scammed on my mobile a couple of times for a few quid im extra carefull now , but it seems there are poeple out there that can take money from your O2 account without you even touching the screen and exceping a con by mistake.
Once you are conned even if you call O2 sraight away they will not stop the payment.
I THINK AN IDEA MAY BE TO HAVE SOME KIND OF INSURANCE AGAINST THIS
Say £2 per month to im sure O2 would make more than they would pay out.

With reference to the OP...I can't see anyone, let alone O2, creating an insurance policy in case of this. They would be forever paying out for peoples mistakes. Users need to be better educated and NOT click on or sign up to anything which is going to cost them....(unless they specifically want to use a particular service)

It's a non-starter. Can you imagine the number of people who legitimately use these premium services and then decide to claim on some sort of insurance policy? Never happen!
