Well I did write my 2 cents worth last night but it appears my account was deleted and post removed so I cant even have my say by the looks of it. So I cant be bothered to repost it all but it looks like o2 have found there cash cow and I will be leaving asap out of principle. They had exclusivity on iphone for a long time some of that could have been reinvested in QoS on there network and realistic fair usage limits applied to heavy users.
To those that are happy with this decision you probably bought it as a fashion statement and its enough for constant facebook right?
To the rest of us that enjoy the full range of features on our smartphones dark expensive times lay ahead and any really useful features away from home are now crippled google maps for example pointless at home on my wifi dont get lost or need directions in my home and to think im gonna pay extra to use this! My £80 tom tom sat nav app, gonna cost my £5 everytime I wanna use that I dont think so.
So thanks o2 for ruining it for everyone
Come on 3 you need customers do the right thing

Wouldnt the easiest solution be to buy the iphone 4 on pay as you go simplicity, which is £20 a month 300 mins unlimited text 500mb. then if you go over you have to pay another £5 or £10 taking your bill to £25 / £30 a month. thats quite good if you ask me?
Obviously this also depends on how much they sell the phone for which my guess would be £500 to £ 550 easy.
Somebody said that with 500mb you could watch 60 youtube vids and look at 5000 internet pages so lets do the math. that means you could look at 161 pages a day everyday for a month. who would seriously look at that many pages in a month without using wifi aswell?
by the way is there something going on with multi media messages? i thought they were tied into your sms's messages?

You don't get 500mb for free, it's included in your contract for which you pay for.
Oh and regardless of what you think or feel you should only post nice and pretty things about O2.
Just one more reason to go elsewhere, preservation of freedom of speech.
