Looks like O2 are going to follow AT&T's lead by getting rid of the Unlimited Data tariffs for smartphones and iPhones.

Doesn't even look like they're goig to do an unlimited data bolt on!

This could get very expensive!

There is a small clause that unlimited data will still be active until october.

I hope they change their mind then.

I can't imagine how o2 think theyll keep any existing customers the whole point of the iphone is to have unlimited internet access restrictions defeat its purpose.
If there are no unlimited contracts I'll not upgrade and go back to a basic phone and mp3 player. Greedy idiots just like apple

Not sure when this happened.

It use to be 4 times SMS now it is 20p ea MMS.

What they don't realise is that the 3% of top users who absolutely CANE the network (Probably includes me as I use approx 3-4GB a month) will just simply not upgrade the actual contract and will probably just get PAYG h/sets to use their sim in.

I may just see just how much data I can use in a month, just for giggles. grin Smiley Mad

he woman I spoke to today told me if you sign up before the 24th you'll come under the old rules for the duration of your contract.

Also what is to stop you using an old payg iphone sim with the 12mths free unlimited data? just transfer it to the new microsim or make your own.

Not happy with O2 today after the announcement of the iPhone 4 data tariff. I'll be looking for another operator who offers a better deal. Sorry O2 but it's your fault.
