Maybe not the right thread to post this under but I'm an Booke fan living in Ireland (Belfast). Still I keep getting all the O2 texts and emails to get up for England. Do they send them to Welsh, Irish and Scottish customers too?
I find it quite strange that O2 "UK" seems to offer packages for "England" only.
It's the same for concert (priority) tickets: I get offers in England but anywhere in the north of Ireland or the Republic would be much more convenient for me.
Yep, am Scottish and I get the 'support England' stuffs. ๐

Strange isn't it?
I sent a question to the support desk and got his answer:
In order changed to Irish rugby and concerts in Ireland, I'd request you
to call Ticket Master by dialling 08444 999 999. As they're in better
position to help you with this matter.
Calls are charged at 20.4p per minute.
I hope It helps.
Regards
Ankur
O2 Customer Service.
I contacted Ticketmaster but got no reply yet.
Don't get me wrong: I don't dislike English rugby but would much rather get offers to support Irish rugby as that is where I live.
I think Scottish or Welsh supporters also would rather support their own countries.

This is mainly because O2 have a ยฃ16M sponsorship with England Rugby which they've been involved in for some years.
They also sponsor the under 16s and the England Women's Rugby Team.

I understand that but the sponsor Ireland as well.

Just like I get ticket offers for concerts in the O2 in London as the O2 in Dublin is only 2 hours away.
O2 over the years has entered into some very high profile sponsorship arrangements. In 1998 then ESAT Digifone committed its support to the Hurlers & Footballers of Cork. They have remained proud sponsors of Cork GAA for the past ten years.
Another high profile sponsorship agreement is their association with the Irish Rugby Football Union and the Ireland national team. Building on their rugby links with Shannon RFU, O2 joined forces with the top level of rugby in Ireland. They also sponsored the West Stand at Ireland's former home ground, Lansdowne Road.
Following in the foot steps of their UK counterparts they are also the title sponsor of one of the country's most high profile venue, the Point Depot, now re-named "The O2" (as with The O2 in London, UK).

Not really, that's Telefonica Ireland, same group, different company, and they run their own promotions.

I'm pretty sure they wouldn't be sending out emails/tweets/texts to the whole of the UK supporting Scotland against England.

It's not that's why the Irish players run around with O2 on their shirts.

Can you imagine what this forum (or twitter) would be like if O2 were the main sponsors of the Scotland team considering this morning's match?
I'm pretty sure they wouldn't be sending out emails/tweets/texts to the whole of the UK supporting Scotland against England.
As they should
I don't dislike England but have to support Scotland for this game.
I like the underdog. Except for when the underdog (England) plays the bokke.

Well don't try logging into your account at O2.ie as it won't work.

It does actually
Had to buy an Irish phone as well as roaming rates are still way too high and I'm in the republic 50% of my time.
