Re: Network Coverage

What network coverage....?
3 days now....network outage at my home address....why oh why in this day of sophisticated network management systens tools, do we have to report issues....it is beyond belief that we have to report problems. I hope my bill will be correspondingly reduced...?
I have been on call coordinating for my local bloodbike charity and have missed urgent/emergency calls as a result of the network being faulty....I hope no-one's life was put at risk because of this issue....!!!.
I would like to see someone in the O2 network operations division to come on here to explain what caused the outage and why it takes/has taken so long to identify & sort out (see earlier comment about network management systems).
It is shoddy service, at best, and I want an explanation why. Also, if I find out lives were put at risk, I will raise a formal complaint with OFCOM.
I await o2'svexplanation witn bsitef breath.....not...!

It's highly unlikely you will get an official response from O2 on what is essentially a customer to customer forum. You need to address your concerns directly to O2 via the complaint form.

It's extremely good of people like you to provide this volunteer service, but to O2 you are just another private customer.

They will get the service restored as soon as they can and it won't be down for longer than necessary.

As a volunteer on this service you cannot be held liable for any failures in the phone system.

It's best practice to have a secondary backup of communication ,such as a home phone ,and or another sim card from an alternative network.

If your phone is not unlocked to all Networks then fill out this firm to get this done, so your not stuck on one network.

It's free to Contract Customers or £15 to payg Customers who have had the phone on the Network for 12 months ,unless you have an iPhone which is unlock able straightaway.

Sim Cards on Payg are readily available from online , Network Shops or £1 shops.

Just an idea.
