So I have received this latest text from O2. Do I need to check my preferences? I can't believe anything they say these days about marketing!

Had the same yesterday on 2 if my accounts.
Yet another glitch in the system I guess !!!
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

That's a bald-faced lie. Not long ago, everyone's preferences were set back to O2's default which is to allow contact from O2's 'trusted partners', some of who are no more than scam artists, cold calling and selling products people don't want or need. This was done without anyone's permission.
