I've received an email from a site called giffgaff thanking me for my SIM order and that its on its way to me.

I've never even heard of them!! I don't want to click on any of the links on the email to see what's going on in case it's going to cause trouble.

I don't know how they got my details and why they are asking me to change provider.

As a precaution, check if any of your details registered on the O2 website have been changed wink

Somebody has used your email details when they ordered a SIM. It may have been intentional (because they wanted you to recive a SIM) or it may be in error, ie very similar email address entered incorrectly.... I wouldn't worry about it.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
