Poor data speed

Hi,

My mobile data speed for a couple of months both inside and outside the home is 2 mega bit. I swapped sim with my wife she is on Virgin and I could get 25meg with Virgin sim same speed as she would get on her phone. Any advise how I address this with o2. Have a 30gb monthly allowance

Check https://status.o2.co.uk and see if there are any issues in your area.

Is your phone showing 4G, 4G+. 2G or 3G?

Lots of things can affect the data speed such as distance from the o2 mast, contention on the network.

Thanks for replies. Have reported it a few times and checked network status is fine. Can’t get to talk to anyone at o2 automated messages no chat all busy.
When I put my wife’s sim I get full speed about 45meg, swapped back to o2 1.2 meg
