I am a controller for my local Blood Runners service and when on duty use a lot of texts to keep in touch with our driver/riders, normally from 1900 to 0600. I know to send pictures I get charged but not fo using Emojies? Instead of typing out replies once a drop has been done I just send a 'thumbs up' emoji, not thinking this is classed as a 'picture'? In the last 2 months I have been charged over £40 for doing this, not knowing I am being billed every time.
You need to make this action clearer to your users as to be honest it's money I can't afford to lose, as blood runners is a free service to the NHS, I cannot claim it back.

You really need to read this guide.
Guide: Accidental MMS Sending and How to Avoid it
