There is currently a problem with O2 in my area, as a phone mast is not working, but everyone else (wife and 2 children) are able to txt, phone etc and have signal except me........whats happening?

I have turned phone off and back on with a hope to get it working to no avail, I have removed sim card, wiped it and tried again to no avail.

HELP!!!

It might be your sim that has failed or the problem might only be effecting certain numbers.
If you can pop into an o2 shop they will swap the sim card for you.
Does your phone work if you move to a different area served by a different mast?

It maybe that your family are picking up signal from another mast.

Do as suggested and if it doesn't help, try forcing your phone onto another network such as Vodafone.  It will fail obviously but if you then select o2 in network settings it may pick up the other mast when the network resets.

Silly question - everyone else is on O2? If so maybe try one of their sim cards in your phone to see if it is an issue with the phone.

Good news. Did you reboot the phone at all?
