OnePlus Bullet Headphones Version 2 – Review

Well, what can one say about a set of cheapish headphones... well surprisingly rather a lot.

Look & Feel

The OnePlus Bullets V2 comes in a snazzy looking, premium feeling package. They are made of brushed metal and the colour matches that of my OnePlus 3T.  The design is rather striking. The cables are flat which appears to help avoid tangling, and comes equipped with in-line mic and volume controls.   No carry case supplied though, bit of a downer, but they certainty look more expensive than the £16 price tag.

As for the ear buds themselves, you get three different sizes. They feel good in-ear, and are squishy to help block out surrounding noise, and this also helps keep them in place when moving around. I prefer this over those plastic one size fits all buds.

Sound Quality

I’m very surprised at the quality of these earphones, I expected them to be a little tinny and quite, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. There is a great range that sounds deep with a good rich base. And, unlike other in-ear headphones I’ve used, moving them slightly in your ear doesn’t effect the sound, though I assume this is thanks to those squishy buds.

Additional OnePlus Features

I’ve also noticed, that within my OnePlus 3T settings, there is an option to select the type of headphones your using. When selected, the quality of these headphone increase slightly, something to remember if your a oneplus handset owner.

Handsfree

Phone calls sounds great and the in-line buttons worked as intended. No issues with others hearing me via the mic either.

Interesting read @Curr946. As you say, you normally get the quality you pay for with headphones so it's good these do a reasonable job...

Nice Review @Curr946! I hope One Plus is happy that you're using so much of their kit wink

Very nice review @Curr946! slight_smile

I also like it when they come in 3 different sizes, as the default ones are usually too big for my small ears and just fall off with the slightest head movement.
