Yesterday I noticed a change in the O2 community header (home page) whilst using my laptop

It happened half way through the day.

Luckily I was able to take a snip of what it used to look like as I had a tab open from when I first logged on

This is how it has always looked ...

O2 top header 1.PNG

After 1pm it looked like this ....

O2 top header 2.PNG

So to answer the questions I am sure will follow

1) This is on my laptop using Firefox 55.0.3 (latest version)

2) I have tried it on Edge and Chrome on laptop and it's also showing the 'new' second header

3) I have cleared cache and cookies...

So a few questions....

Why the change?

Has anyone else noticed the new header on PC?

Personally I find it a real annoyance. Half the tabs are no longer showing....the Apps tab can't be found in any of the sections.

There is no point asking me what it looks like on my phone as I use my laptop 99% of the time I am online and wouldn't notice if anything had changed on my mobile....

I got this issue this morning using Chrome on mobile with a weak O2 4G signal.

Not sure this has anything to do with Community header page change ...(but we appear to be putting all new 'issues' here now instead of the More Forum Issues thread)

So is anyone noticing problems with Unread Posts?

Every so often whole threads keep appearing as unread...when I actually have read all of the posts??....

This morning I have seen this one twice....

https://community.o2.co.uk/t5/Discussions-Feedback/Insurance/m-p/1070416#M26367

And this one https://community.o2.co.uk/t5/Pay-Monthly-and-Pay-Go/Nhs-refund/m-p/1070424#M156436

I am NOT talking about those threads that have been moved to another section

Nor those that have had new posts added. Talk about time consuming.....

Yes it's something I've seen twice ready today but many many times over the course of the last couple of months so it isn't a new thing. Why does this happen if the thread hasn't been moved? If I was at all cynical I would be wondering if it was anything to do with making the forum appear busier.

If that is one of the ways to save the community then go for it with my blessing. Good job I'm not cynical innit tongue
