When i purchased new Samsung flip 6, I was told I would get a voucher to but galaxy earbuds for £20. 3 weeks later the SMS arrived with the code- it didn't work. Phoned 02 and they cut me off. Phoned again next day and after a long conversation explaining the issue was told I would receive an SMS with new code. Still haven't received it - very poor O2 😔

You really have to persevere with O2.

Did you copy and paste the code @1215 rather than retyping it ? 

 

There have previously been reports on here of confusion caused by numeric 1, lower case l and capital I ; similarly the number zero and the capital letter O.
