2G and 3G Service Interuption
We have identified a connectivity issue on our network which has affected both 2G and 3G service in parts of East London, North London and Kent. Customers in these areas may be experiencing difficulty in making or receiving mobile calls, texts or using data. Our Engineering team are working on the problem as a priority in order to resume full service as soon as possible.

The network will be down all day and we will receive no form of embursement or compensation for the time we havent been able to make work calls or check our e-mails. Ive been waiting for a call from a client i work for and an unable to receive it. I have now lost a days work because of this and yet o2 say its my fault!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why? Did you nick the cable? :robotmad:

No - but they make enough from customers to have better forms of security!! Also, the whole point of having a mobile phone, and internet on the go, is exactly for that - on the go! So regardless if people haven't made alternate arrangement with clients etc... we are paying for a service. Yes they are allowed margin for error, but 12 hours on...

i dont want it replacing in half an hour, i want it replaced 12 hours after it happened! What alternate arrangements should i make? A landline in my van? The point of a mobile is that i use it on the move! You try finding a phonebox nowadays!

What has happened?
There has been theft and vandalism at one of our operations sites in East London and, as a result, customers in East London, North London, Kent and Sussex may be experiencing problems making or receiving calls, texts or data.
How are you fixing this?
Our engineers are on site now working to replace the stolen equipment and repair the vandalism
How long will it take you?
At the moment there is no estimated time for this to be fixed, however we’re working on getting our network up and running as soon as possible and expect it to be today.
We’ll update this post as soon as the situation changes.
