RE: Default Notice & Bill  & Lowell notice of outstanding payment

Agreement number-1055781018

I am writing to dispute a notice I received relating to a bill for services I have not agreed to. There has clearly been a fraudulent agreement made in my name with Telefonica UK Ltd. I have been reporting to Fraud tems O2 since July 4 , its still going on.So many phone calls i made , letters forwarded to o2 care & fraud o2 teams no action been taken , every time i have received a response from o2 team , don't worry ,just ignore this ... but now i have to pay sum of £1183.94 which is a fraudulent activity through my o2 accounts, the mob number is even not belongs to me .Very disappointed , totaly stresssed & worried about whats going on.

Can some one advice me what to do next.

many thnaks

If you think you’ve been the victim of fraud, whether it’s because you’ve given details to someone over the phone, or clicked on a link in a suspicious text or email there are things you can do:

Contact your bank if you think you may have given out financial information. They can help protect your account and stop transactions.
Change your account and online account passwords. Not just your O2 account. All of them.
Forward fraudulent texts to O2 for free on 7726.
Contact Action Fraud on 0300 123 2040.
Call your Virgin Media or O2 customer services number if you think somebody’s taken out a contract using your details.
Virgin Media customers can phone 150 from their landline or 0345 454 1111 from any other phone.
O2 customers can call 202 from their O2 phone or 0344 809 0202 from any other phone.

You can block the number that called you, or any number you think may be suspicious.

Hi Sabu

If Lowell have agreed to delay action pending O2 completing their investigation, then that is progress.

I suggest that you keep chasing the O2 fraud team ; criminal law and the money laundering regulations mean that they cannot update you on an ongoing investigation, but at least they will remain aware that you are awaiting resolution.

Please keep us informed of developments.
