O2 Email now with Sky How do I delete downloaded messages from the server

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi

I use a PC at home to download my email (Windows Live Mail) and these are saved on my PC. This only downloads new emails. Unfortunately they are still still stored on the Server and when I access O2 emails via my phone it downloads all the emails since 2009 (.3000 emails) to my phone and uses up all my data allowance. I have tried speaking to O2 and Sky about how do i clear down the Server and remove these old emails, but they bounce me between each other.

I am unable to use O2 Webmail to delete directly on the server as this is not supported.by O2.

Any ideas?

A

O2 webmail is closing down. At some stage you are going to lose any access. I suggest you save anything of importance and use another email client.  Inform everyone of your new email provider,  sign out and forget the account.

Change your email settings to purge messages from server.
