Nokia N97.....o2 say NO?

Hi there peeps, i was looking forward to the new Nokia N97 coming out, and wondered why i hadnt seen anything on the website, phoned o2 up and at first they said they were not going to do the handset at all, then they said well maybe they would but dont know, then finally yesterday told me that no way would they be doing this handset :mansurprised: ? Anyone know why? unlike o2 not to get this in to be honest, they have always had the others when they came out.

I could get an N97 Mini on Voda, T-Mobile or Orange if I wanted to and can even get it from the Carphone Warehouse ironically on o2! I don't see the problem being with Nokia, more with o2 to be honest.

The phone is available - just not directly from o2 for some reason... the latest one I was given was because of the ash and that was from someone in the o2 shop:roll:

But I do wonder if they get the same information from their call centre people as when I called o2 Customer Services they said that it is not on system and they pobably wont get it as they are pushing the iPhone and other high end models :mansurprised:
