New I-Phone Tariffs

I read in the Metro during the week that 02 were going to be changing the tariffs for the i-phone to increase sales. They said it would happen today, so I looked and sure enough they have increased the included minutes, now getting 600 minutes for calls and 500 texts for £35. This is great, apparently all existing customers will receive a text by the 7th of Feb telling us how we can take advantage of the new offer.

I am hoping we will get the same and have emailed them just now to find out as I have only had my phone 6 days I will be pretty annoyed if I don't get the new tariff at no extra cost!

Seen these today - can somone explain the 30d simplicity - as it appears you can get the handset very cheap with this tariff and as its only 30days -correct me if im wrong - you could cancell after the 30days, and therefor get the iphone 4 for a very cheap price?

Regards, Jamie.

You won't get the iPhone 4 cheap on a Simplicity tariff. On this tariff you will need to pay the full price for the iPhone 4 (or whichever phone you are wanting), basically a Simplicity tariff means you have to pay for the full cost of the phone in one go . The iPhone 4 prices on your link are for pay monthly customers.

From Apple's website the iPhone 4 16GB will be £499 and the 32GB will be £599.

So expect to pay these prices or similar either on Pay & Go or for people on Simplicity tariff.

Simplicity tariff means you buy the phone separately or use your old phone!!

Im on the 30 day simplicity contract and in order to get the iphone 4 i need to change to the iphone simplicity contract. You have to pay for the whole phone wich is about £600 although i have complained today to o2 as they will not let you buy the phone outright tomorrow. They don't actually know when the phone will be available for people on the simplicity contract or for pay as you go.
