Networks Charging For Charity Donations

Am I the only one that finds it bad that mobile networks still charge the standard network charge for charity appeals?  They should waiver the network rate charge when the number being called/messaged is associated with a national charity appeal such as Children In Need, Comic Relief etc.

Thanks

Steve

Quite right they should. I didn't realise they did so thanks for pointing that out.

The controlling bodies need to look at this and get the networks to waive the charges.

Totally agree @welshsteve76

It's pretty poor that we do our best for charity yet networks reap their own rewards!!

Don't most people have unlimited texts these days?
All the charitable donations I give to come out of my allowances. I've never been charged extra?

I guessed but all big bundles have unlimited texts too.
It's only the defunct classic that would likely charge for it.

Most of the numbers you text are premium rate and do not come out of your allowance, they are charged extra

Thanks
