NO SIGNAL!

Anonymous
Not applicable

I have had no signal for the last 48 hours! I'm not the only one affected - no-one in the area has any signal on O2... The so called "customer service" is appalling and we are all sick of being told "our systems show no current problems in your area"! An admission of the fault would be a great start and at least five people I know are changing networks first thing tomorrow - as I will too if this isn't resolved!

We have signal again! Oddly enough I seem to have better coverage than before... Rang CS and the computer put me through to the wrong dept twice... CS staff were (as always) very nice and helped as much as they could - finally put it down to a problem with bad weather which they said wouldn't show up as a fault on their system. They apologised and said to get as many people as possible to report if it happens again as the mast may need maintenace... - Understandably no goodwill gesture in this case =( thinking of complaining to whoever controls the weather though!!

have you used the coverage checker, cleaned the sim, tried it in another o2 phone?

have you reported the issue to o2?

you wont be able to ue that to get out of your contract. you will need to pay up the amount in full your monthly tariff cost x how many months left you have to run

Don't run away with the idea that because you see a few compaints that 22 million people are having problems.

Twitter is an easy place to go and have a whinge and many take advantage of it.

I hope it gets you somewhere.

Most people find one call to O2 does it.

I have spoken to the O2 "gurus" twice and tried EVERYTHING they suggested! It's not just me affected... We've reported the problem but O2 keep telling us there isn't an issue! It's very difficult to discuss the issue with your network provider when you don't have any signal... I've only taken out a new 12 month contract and I've never had any problems with O2 before - usually find them very helpful if anything - but this is just ridiculous!

Easier said than done when 20 odd people I know don't have signal... And O2 keep insisting there are no issues with signal in the area! The very least they could do is try and keep us updated via e-mail.

If they don't know of a fault and your phone isn't working, how could they?

Maybe because I can access my e-mails on this laptop and I left my e-mail address with an O2 guru who promised to keep me updated while they were "looking into the matter"  - which turned out to be repeating their statement that there's nothing wrong... I'm sure the issue is due to the bad weather we've had here but its so frustrating to have so many people with no signal and to constantly hit a brick wall when trying to fix it.
