I received two text messages within 32 minutes tonight which were suppose to be from o2, (Which I cannot reply) one text subject were "Billing" and the second text subject were "MyO2" which read
Hi Baza, We're having troubles verifying your account details.
Head over to http://My-O2.com/ to avoid your services being suspended.
I do know that is a scam to fill in my bank account details so they can drain my bank account but I would like to know if anyone else as had these text tonight and how have they got my name and phone number as my profile should be set on private? Has o2 been hacked at all recently?
I cannot block the texts as they is no number to show and the website appears to be German?

Unfortunately, there are many gullible people out there who are not savvy, and react immediately to texts like that. That's what the scammers count on. It's a good thing that some people like @Baza do report them, but as said, there are probably many who fall for the scam, and there's no way of knowing the numbers who do. The fraudulent text should be reported here: http://www.actionfraud.police.uk/report_fraud

Also @Baza report it here phishing@o2.com
