Lost images & videos

I can no longer see images and videos in posts....it was OK a couple of days ago......I posted a laughing Li meme.

I'll post one here and see if I can see it.

The one I posted of Semana Santa in the Easter thread was copied and pasted directly from a google image. (again not using the forum image upload box) @Beenherebefore

The thing is...if I think I want to use an image again I will save it to my picture file on PC and use it again with the forum image facility. If it is a one off pic I invariably copy and paste directly to the forum... The one of the 4 candles in the Ronnie Corbett thread was copy and paste... I can see it...so apparently can @jonsie?

@Beenherebefore I did use the forum image upload box. Uploaded from a file on my PC.

I can see them all whether C&P or uploaded normally. I too sometimes just copy and paste an image.

Same for me.

Re videos ....I only ever upload from Youtube...directly into the forum video box...Copy and paste doesnt work with those ....for me anyway....:smileytongue:

Now that is strange, as I can see the Semana Santa but I can't see the Ronnie one. You would think that if you C&P both then both would be missing...
Wonder if they are different file types then? Maybe the hosting site that they linked from treats them slightly differently...

Thanks for the info everyone. It seems to be a complicated one! Please post your results as @gmarkj has, as it will make it much easier to ascertain the exact symptoms in order for us to fix it.

I would always advise using the image upload function when writing posts as a general rule. I do the same with emails too
