It is so annoying that O2 has declined my claim. I've been paying the insurance from 18 months(15£ PM). The reason they said is my address registered with them is not good. But I'm not staying at that address from last one year and registered new address at O2 long time back.
But the the third party claim office is saying that they have no information about the new address changed hence declining the claim.
I feel this is not my fault as I registerd my new address with O2, and I have no need to do it with all the third parties. What should I do now???
Thanks,
Harry.

I reckon they have applied this clause
Material Disclosure
It is your responsibility to provide complete
and accurate information to us when you
take out Your policy and throughout the life
of Your policy. It is important that you ensure
all statements You make on your Enrolment
Form, over the telephone, on Claim forms
and other documents are full and accurate.
Please note that if You fail to disclose any
material information to Us, this could
invalidate your insurance cover and could
mean that part or all of a Claim may not
be paid
However, it does not say you have to contact the insurance company direct.
Might be worth pursuing this after speaking to O2

The argument here seems to be whose responsiblity is it to notify the insurance company.
I should make a complaint as set out on the policy and see if they will reconsider it.
You can check it here, depending which policy you have:
http://www.o2.co.uk/termsandconditions/finance-and-insurance
They insist on being informed of any material changes as most companies do, and a change of address would be covered in that.
