Information Please

What criteria does a customer have to satisfy to become a "Platinum Customer"?  What are the benefits of being a precious metal Customer?  Why does a search for Platinum Customer result in just one hit -  a list of Customer Service contact numbers?

Hi @Anonymous  Slightly off topic but picking up from an earlier comment of yours?

I also find the search facility on this forum pretty useless

I frequently type in something and am directed to multiple choice items (none of which are the topic I am looking for!!)

This is why I asked Toby and Chiara for a section of basic help links that I, and others could provide in an answer to new members.

The experienced folk on here, have these links ingrained in their memory banks Unfortunately

The search facility is useless...and I am beginning to feel I won't try to answer a new post..if I can't give all the info required

Hopefully the more 'tags' people insert in threads / posts the easier things will become when searching on the forum.

I do agree things can be quite confusing at times but I hope this does not put you off providing answers in the forum.

BoB... at first I thought half an answer was better than no answer...Now? I find it very very frustrating

Particularly when someone rocks up 1 minute later with the link I was looking for...

This is NOT a criticism of the folk who can do that...more a criticism of the Forum that will not allow me to do the same.

I will never answer a technical question...but there are many I could answer...if only I had the facility to do so....

It probably would help, IF it was put into its own section for help links.....

(As it stands that was a thread I started asking for suggestions)

It is completely different to the Section for Help TOPICS collated by MI5...

The ones I want are just links to commonly asked questions ....

Platinum customers do still exist, and from what I can gather it depends on your monthly spend, as you can be relegated to normal CS, if you dont keep the spend high enough (this is above your tariff costs) . The benefits are straight through to an agent (based in the North East), you get better looked after, with a much friendlier team, and they always call you back
