IPhone 6 WiFi Calling

I noticed that Apple said that WiFi calling in the UK would be supported by EE. Anyone know if that is an exclusive deal, or can we expect O2 to offer the same in due course? Given the appalling reception for O2 I get in our house this would be a great feature.

Just so you are quite clear, I'm not interested in tugo,

Well, you are because you are asking about o2's WiFi calling options. So far there is:

1. Tu (go)

its not wi-fi calling

Well that is exactly how o2 are marketing it.

Please stop hawking it to me every time I post in this tread which is about wi-fi calling.

Which is what Tu (go) is

The same goes for EE too.

But they are the only network to offer the service natively, which is what you want I believe. Fact is, O2 won't offer the service as long as Tu is still working and paying off the investment.

Tu go is not wi-fi calling, its an app. Completly different as it dosent intergarate with the phones OS at all. Wi-fi calling is seemless, no need to install or run another app and complete intergration with the rest of the phones OS and functions

I very much doubt if o2 invested much in tu go at all and if they did they were robbed.

Yes you're right, magical pixies dropped it on the doorstep of Telefonica, all finished and everything.

It's certainly here to stay for the foreseeable future at least.
