I keep getting a message left at odd hours from a debt collection company looking for someone else. Despite repeated attempts to disuade them from calling me I still get an automated voicemail message. How do I block the number?

Hi,

02 will not block numbers / texts i'm afraid.

More help here : http://service.o2.co.uk/IQ/SRVS/CGI-BIN/WEBCGI.EXE?New,Kb=Companion,question=ref(User):str(Mobile),C...

Can you find out the contact details of the company and write to them ?

Check if your phone has this facility ?

02 would change your mobile number once for free.

This link may be helpful if they revert to sending you texts.

The iOS 7 Beta testers have talked about this facility, and I do hope Apple keep it in the GM release Adam !

Time for Android to get on board for their OS then too, and not leave it to individual manufacturers. This is something that should be shared between Apple, Android and Windows as well. It's a scourge that affects everyone.
