Does anyone else suffer from loss of service in North Yorkshire? When I visit Askrigg (DL8) a couple of times a year, whilst it is nice not to have contact with the outside world, it would be comforting to know that I could at least use a mobile if family or friends needed to speak with me urgently. There has been no Network coverage to date in this area, so clearly though 02 are investing in the Network and spending £1.5m per day, none is being spent in this "outback" area, which is a real pity!

It is showing fine at the moment.

cleaning your SIM card can help.

Also switching to 2g can help sometimes.

Also if You can use wifi and are a pay monthly customer o2's tugo may help or what's app or viber if on payg

There is no coverage in much of the Askrigg area, but due to the terms of the agreement signed with Ofcom they might get some eventually.

Some isolated areas may never have any.

That postcode does have a mast issue that won't help but should soon be fixed:
