Hi All,

Unusual for me, however today I am going to have a rant! I get so angry at some posters on this forum who seem to have lost the art of 'good manners'. In my opinion, the O2 forum is the best thing since sliced bread. People give hours of time and expertise, offering free advice and support to folk like me and are rarely rewarded with a simple thank you! My pet hates are a) people who post, then never bother returning to see what expert advice they have been given, b) Posters who never give kudos when their issue is resolved and c) folk who never say thank you.

I have never made any secret of the fact I am an 'elderly' technophobe, but the advice and support I have received on here is second to none. I have never been patronised or made to feel stupid which is why I keep coming back time and time again. if it wasnt for the experts on this forum, I would have binned my S3 and gone back to my old phone. I always remember someone on here saying to me 'There is no such thing as a stupid question'. I kept that in mind and continued ask things that the experts may have really thought 'DUH', but answered with patience making things simple. So just remember this guys 'You get out of life exactly what you put in' If someone helps you on here a simple thanks (and a few kudo's) makes all the difference. O2 may get some things wrong...this forum isnt one of them! Thanks again and... PHEW...Rant over!!Smiley LOL

Very sound words and very true manners don't cost anything and go a long way

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
Please select the post that helped you best and mark as the solution. This helps other members in resolving their issues faster. Thank you.

The support staff could at least post a thank you. Smiley Frustrated

Or O2 could say thank you by giving those that help the rank of "superuser". Smiley LOL
