Today someone called me on my "additional" number and ask about a specific person (name).
He knows what my full name is, and no one has this number except O2 and my family. So how is it possible?
If O2 shared my data to the 3rd party companies I should know about it! This is my privacy!
How can I block sharing my data in the future?

You can choose to be contacted or not here in your MyO2.

The default setting is ON for marketing so the damage is done now unfortunately. I think every O2 customer has had their data compromised.

Thank you very much
To O2: this option should be default disabled!

And the really annoying thing that made everyone angry came a few months back when all of us who had switched marketing off suddenly started getting spam calls again. On checking we found that O2 had switched our marketing preferences back on.
O2 obviously denied this.....

It pays to check your preferences regularly these days.

I recorded my desktop and browser when I disabled this option
so I'm going to be rich when return to enable again 🤣😂🤑🤑
