I guess it is down to th slow updating of the website.
I have been able to get 4g as you know via a dongle for ages . But this was on my iphone 6s in the pub !!!

It's strange but as you say do not trust coverage checkers. I wanted 4G tariff here in Pattaya, oh n, only Bangkok they said....Got a 4G sim and whilst it isn't brilliant here, they really need to update the information which the store staff go off.

@jonsie agreed but I guess you also have other things to consider out there lol
But I can get 4g from o2 in a gprs 2g only area for the last 6 months why is the coverage checker so far behind!

Not checked the device but band 20 800mhz dd from 8 plus miles away as local serving mast is gprs only on the 900mhz band 1.5 miles away !!!
And you have to be shielded from that mast to get the 4g!

I never even bother with it @adamtemp64....Falsely informed me I would get 4G probably 2 days before @MI5 (or so I thought). I didn't. I still don't get it unless I travel into town. On the other hand, my eldest who is with Vodafone and is always moaning about no 4G....can get it in my house!!....With his iPhone....Sooooo. how do you like that?
