As a pay as you go customer I have to say 02 are actually scammers how is such a big company like you charging £12 of data on the bolts for just 3G to last you until November 5th 2022 like come on do better EE , Vodafone, Giff gaff all have better data options.

Scammers is a bit strong

Yes, data bolt ons are not good value for money

But you are hardly forced to buy extra data

The secret is to take a tariff with sufficient data for your needs

You have to look at the complete package.

I would not say EE is cheaper overall

Giffgaff is fine if you buy Goodie Bags but their standard PAYG rates are not the cheapest

As a PAYG customer you are not tied in to a contract so if your needs change find a network that fits them better.

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.
