Data Breach

02 has definitely had a data breach. Scam caller knew my email address, phone model, exact monthly payments. Next day another scam caller saying my SIM card was going to stop working. 

Phoned customer service, someone had phoned and asked for details on how much contact I had left and how much I owed. 

They had also triggered that I was going to leave. 

Reported to 02, within 24 hours they've said its resolved with no explanation. 

No it's not, how do they explain all of this information the scammers had and the attempts to access and take my account. No other way to know this information than there is or has been a breach! Online shows I'm not the only one when checking the number that rang me.

Have you reported it to the ICO at all or the o2 DPO team?, as there hasnt been a data breach, but be aware if your parents have ticked the marketing permissions then that means that o2 can share with "trusted partners" 

Also if they have accepted an offer via a cold call and dismissed any warnings sent and then given the cold callers then OTP they are told not to share then they are liable...

yes there has been a data breach, i have lost my life saving and O2 denied it all. Hackers are going to my O2 requesting a password reset and intercepting the OTP on O2 SS7 Protcols, O2 is very quiet about this, i am in the process of taking them to Court, I got the ICO invovled and O2 told the ICO the data is now deleted but i have the data. this all connects to the hacks reported by the bbc and in i think 2016 and not in may again.

And O2 will do 2 things, chuff all and nowt.

Because there's not a lot they CAN do.
