DIDCOT O2 Store - Horrific customer service experience

Anonymous
Not applicable

I want to share my experience here, as I can't believe the way I was treated. Friday 24th, in the morning, I logged onto the O2 website and upgraded. Because I work in Milton Park, I chose the Didcot store to collect my new Iphone. I cannot fault the online process, it was effortless, flawless and I was made aware at all stages of the process, however, I was let down by the in store assistant and the overall experience , and my day was worse off for it.

At around 11:15, that day, I walked into the Didcot store and politely asked, to the first assistant who aproached me : "Hi, I am her to collect my phone." I was totally unprepared for the answer that I receievd and I quote the Exact words he used : "Well, you'll have to give me more information than that!".

I have never in my 45 years of existence on planet earth, been treated with such utter disdain and indifference from a shop assistant. What ever happened to common human decency and civility?

So, O2, you have my number.  I'm waiting for your call.Sincerely

Martyn Ward

Give CS a call on 202 in the first instance to report the matter.
I'll also tag @Toby who may contact you for more details.
