O2 were my ISP, until they sold it to Sky. Enough said?

I'm now on Virgin cable, lightening fast.
Customers move providers for many different reasons.
I hope all goes well with Virgin for you.

Thank you bandofbrothers ( I can't see how to quote you, perhaps it's the iPad).
The sad thing is that I had 3xO2 ISP connections at different places, half a dozen phone accounts, and whilst I am insignificant in the great scheme of things that is still lost revenue for O2.
Your welcome RonnieR.
The rich editor on my iPhone 5 does not work either allowing the quote / spell check option, which is down to the Lithium Software the forum uses. Possibly the same on the iPad I assume.
Take care.

From what I've read, unless you have o2 broadband you are out of luck!
Not happy! When registering for various services over the past years I've used me o2 email. As someone else has already said it now means going back through ALL of those and changing them! Bank, insurance, the list goes on. This is more than just an inconvenience. They will all want to send a confirmation of the change to the o2 account for security, rightly too. Was anyone ever consulted on this??
I too have used o2 for years and am now considering if they will be my provider when I look to renew my contract.
Support uk o2 jobs.... How about o2 supporting uk customers.

I think this is the straw that broke the camels back as far as I am concerned. I was an o2 Broadband customer for many years until they sold out to sky then I switched to another providor, not wanting to get my services from Murdock's empire.
o2 assured me that as a mobile customer I would retain my o2 Email though and now they scrap that too! That's it as far as I am concerned. o2 can no longer give me a service I require so I will move my Mobile service to another providor when this current contract expires.
It's a shame but o2 have lost the plot as far as I am concerned and now they will lose a very loyal long term customer too and I suspect quite a few others.
