In about to do the same switch. Is it with the same network? Make sure the iPhone has 3,G and 4G turn on with the correct settings installed. I would suggest more but I'm not sure. I'm sure these guys will help as they wake up.

Hi

If you have changed Sim Card size you will need to perform a Sim Swap here http://swapmysim.o2.co.uk which moves your tariff and mobile number from your old SIM card to the new nano one. This takes from a few minutes to approximately 24 hours to complete. Turning airplane mide on and off will help the reset. Also any O2 shop can do this for you. Make sure you have the correct account specific nano SIM card as contract ones hold different APN and messaging numbers to Payg ones.

You will need to contact Customer Services on 202 Contract or 4445 Payg ,and request that they put you on iData Settings ,so your Internet works ok.

Also check that your masts are ok here http://status.o2.co.uk

Then ensure mobile data is turned on in the phones settings under Settings->Mobile/Cellular and toggle on mobile data and 4G.

I assume you are in a 4G area too.

Nice choice of phone. slight_smile

Let us know how you get on.

Sounds like you need to check your apn http://www.geeksquad.co.uk/articles/o2-apn-settings
Also make sure you are on iData (data for iPhone, should be displayed in your My O2), if not call CS to get it changed http://www.o2.co.uk/contactus
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

You need to change to the correct data bolt on. iPhones use their own specific bolt on so customer serice will change it for you. In the meantime changing APN would give you back your data connection.
