Hi all,
Curious to see if anyone else has had any experience like this with O2:
My wife chose to upgrade her phone yesterday via the my o2 app. Text received this morning from dpd to say its on its way today.
Next we have a missed call then a message from o2 to say suspected fraud with this transaction so account blocked!?
We called 202 and they cannot tell me anything because its with fraud team and they will contact us?
This has really made me angry because my account was hacked some months ago and someone made an order for a new number, phone to a new address but i hadto contact o2 to say it wasnt me. My wife however makes a order keeping her number and to her same address but its flagged as fraud and i cannot speak to anyone!? Their "fraud" team needs reviewing because from my experience they cannot do their job correctly!

Sounds normal for o2 these days and quite a few reports on here too.
Try the social media teams although their hands may be tied as it’s with fraud.

Quite frankly I personally would stay clear of getting a handset with O2. There seems to be many problems.
These days some manufacturers offer good terms as to the likes of Amazon.
And you are not tied in to one network, particularly if you take some SIM only offerings
