cookie policy pop up jams website up

the incessant cookie policy popup that happens on every page just jams the site up making it impossible to actually select anything on screen... so much for trying to upgrade my kids sims... and yes, i click on allow cookies, but nothing happens... only website to do it, not had issues with other websites- so don't tell mmme its my browser please!
