So in the month or so notice we've had, what the hell have O2's IT been up to. You cannot advertise something you haven't got and to still promote it as an incentive to buy is downright criminal in my opinion.
If someone took O2 to court over this they wouldn't have a leg to stand on. No jokes please. How can O2 really be that stupid?
So a cade offers free doughnuts if you have lunch there. You sit down and eat and you enter into a verbal contract to pay for the meal. After the meal you ask for the free doughnuts and you are told that they no longer make doughnuts but don't worry next year they will be bringing out a replacement doughnut which will be bigger and better with a small extra price for added to it.
So you say I only came to eat here because of the offer on your website. Ah they say you we forgot to remove the offer from our advert.
Don't you think you should be able to leave without paying?
I think it's utterly farcical how O2 have and still are handling this.

Absolutely spot on @jonsie I love the doughnut analogy. Only one thing, you probably wouldn't be paying £1000+ for a meal to get a free doughnut...so what O2 are doing is a lot worse....
