Here's an interesting article I read this morning, about O2 to sell all phones unlocked by mid-August.

What's the lowdown, @Martin-O2?

All contract phones were sold unlocked at one time The original iPhone was the first to be locked because of the O2 exclusivity deal with Apple.
It's way overdue they are now the first network to go back to selling unlocked phones.

Yes this is great news. It’s also confirmed on Twitter as well
So so we got phones starting to be unlocked now for free, phones sold soon unlocked any way, 4G roaming, better speeds abroad, L23 in the U.K.
o2 Travel Inclusive on selected plans.
o2 are seeming really going to make a massive statement this year. Possible more to come ?
1 thing there not good on is o2payg still charging customers to use data in Chanel islands etc. Think that’s poor. But you never know.
