Hi,
My mother asked me to help her with her mobile phone, and upon investigation I've found that she has an O2 business account which was sold to her by Aerial Direct.
The account is 18 months into a 36 month contract. The contract didn't come with a handset, and from looking at the tariff is extremely poor value. I feel that she has been mis-sold and I'd like to know what is the best way to go about leaving this contract early?
Any help much appreciated.
Thanks, Ralph

Hi @Anonymous you need to make a complaint http://www.o2.co.uk/how-to-complain Use Resolver in the link. Seems to have some great results https://www.resolver.co.uk/

@Anonymous
Aerial Direct specialise in selling business contracts and are a "trusted" partner of O2.
If you search this Community there are numerous reports similar to yours going back 3 or 4 years and still O2 have failed to prevent Aerial Direct misselling business contracts.
You should be aware that business contracts do not have the same privileges as consumer contracts under consumer legislation.
All you can do is write a letter claiming cancellation of the missold contract and copy in your local Trading Standards Office.

Thank you both.
I've submitted a complaint via resolver, and submitted a message to Aerial Direct via their website.
I'll let you know how I get on.

Can you confirm that O2 condone the misselling of business contracts to consumers by Aerial Direct ?

That would be a yes. It's been going on for a decade or more and there have been innumerable complaints both here and to crs.
