Hi everyone, since 11/8/14 i am getting a 4g signal in the BH17 (Poole area)

Bit strange as it is not meant to be here yet, or is it, i have a iphone 5s with ios8 beta5 installed, not sure whether this has anything to do with it, not complaining as this is great, just wondering if anyone has any thoughts or having the same thing down south, regards stewart.....

Most likely O2 testing it before pushing it out live.

Hi

No having iOS 8 Beta stage on your iPhone won't be the reason your attaining a 4G signal.

As said they may just be testing their masts near / around that area.

Enjoying the speeds ? Have you run a speed test to see what your attaining.

Enjoy.

Running speed tests can consume a lot of data so be careful of you have limited data available to you.

Well it is good to know the 4g rollout continues if slowly. The South of the country does seem to have been much slower than the north.

The report from the OP is fairly typical of the rollout. No announcements just public testing then bang, 4g starts.
